Our signature Premium British Lager is influenced by the Bavarian Helles style, but just like all Utopian Beers, it has been brewed solely with the finest, British grown malted barley and hops. A slow, low temperature fermentation followed by a long cold conditioning, gives this lager a crisp, clean finish whilst allowing all the wonderful flavours from the malt and hops to fully develop and shine. Light golden in colour, with depth of flavour and impeccable balance, this is lager at its finest.

Tap at Craft Beer Junction in Bermondsey. Honey gold pour. Creamy white head. Stellar lacing. Bready malt nose has lemony notes. Flavor is light, sweet malt. Notes of citrus, honey and grassy hops. Tasty.

Keg at CBJ. Bright clear gold beer, good off white head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, slightly grainy and bready. Floral hop, piney hop, trace of rope citrus. Light and tangy finish. Not bad.

Can from House of Trembling Madness, online. Pours a clear gold with moderate white head which recedes quickly to leave a modest retention. Aroma of fresh grains, hay. doughy white bread, light sharpness. Taste is sweet, bread, light lemon, hay and grassy bitterness. It has a soft carbonation which I don't think works with the light body. Not a patch on their excellent 'Unfiltered British Lager' but for a lager its still decent.
