Our OverWorks cellar reveals the best of both worlds in this Brut IPA/Bretted Saison hybrid. Instead of Champagne yeast we've fermented this beer with our house culture of Brettanomyces to balance bone dry hop highlights with our signature funk. Dry-hopping with Ariana gives massive aromas of currants, vine fruit and citrus, backed up by floral brett expressions.
This is nothing less than Brut IPA redefined. Merciful Maverick - et tu Brut IPA?

On tap at Valhalla Viking Metal Craft Beer Bar, Zagreb. Hazy pale golden, small creamy off-white head. Funky, yeasty, fruity, banana, phenols, quinces, ripe pear. No bitterness. Fruity flavours. Yeasty, slightly malty. Dry peppery finish. Overripe fruit in the finish. Drinkable. Dose of sweetness, dry finish. Funky note throughout, but no bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, herbs, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, herbs, fruit, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Yeah, some claim on behalf of the brewers that this is part Saison. Pfff! Whatever! Tastes like Brut IPA all the way to me. Light malts ,a light creamy sweetness. Champagne grapeyness, crisp and modest light citrus. Nicely brut!

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours yellowy - gold with a medium white head. The aroma is musty, sweet white grape, gooseberry, vinous, melon greengage, hay, slightly metallic, icing sugar and sponge cake. The taste is crisp, dry, slightly tart, musty, white wine, vinous, gooseberry, lemon - lime peel, hay, straw, slightly floral, pithy, lemongrass and white pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy going and drinkable enough. Certainly has that vinous character, but lacks the usual OW wow.
