75cl at De La Senne. It pours clear deep brown with a thick white head. The aroma is musty, funky, brown bread, toasted nut, umami, wood, fruit cake, dried fruits, oiliness and earth. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, chewy, earthy, musty, funk, brett, cocoa, toasted nut, brown bread, fruit cake, coffee, wood, spice and leather with a funky finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works rather well. Good balance of bitter - sweet and funk. Fun stuff.

750 ml. bottle split by 3 people @ Beerlovers during WK 2018 BE – JP game. Bottled 09/02/2018. Dark brown amber, tanned head. Nose is low glue, pain, varnish oak, De La Senne glue, old oak, reminiscent of Crianza II. Same goes for taste glue, oak, overripe cherry pits, old candy, oak, varnish, dark fruit, darker malts, oak, paint & thinned out by brett. Very interesting profile, needs bit more fine-tuning, bit better than Crianza II for me already & De La Senne usually fine tunes new ideas optimally over times, other didn’t like it too much but I quite enjoyed it.

Score: 8 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15 - - From 750 ml bottle at Arrogant Sour Festival 2018.
Brown, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, beige head.
Aroma of cocoa, dried fruits, funk, bread, some toast.
Tastes of cocoa, toast, dried fruits, bread, dried fruits, some leather, slight funk.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium dry, a bit roasty, with cocoa powder, dried fruits, subtle funk.
Very nice. Interesting mix of Brown Ale like notes, barrel and Brett. The nose is more on the funky side, while the taste is more like a Brown Ale, with the funk only subtle. Lovely stuff, smooth and diverse.
