Still gnarly good, I need to find 2018, tons of raspberry jam nose, stone fruit forward and finish, nice blend of fruit funk. Bit of an acidic finish but that's the rare barrel yo!

Bottle shared at Prodigal Son share. Thanks Shu! Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Big stone fruit aromas with apricot and peach with jammy berry notes as it warms. Tart with lactic acidity on the palate. More berry and stone fruit notes with a crisp, clean and tart finish.

Pours rather clear blonde. Small white head. Smell is full, tart, very fruity. Raspberries, apricot. Taste is intensely tart, ( way to sour). Full fruityness. Very pleasant blend of fruits, shame for the I balanced sourness that seems to be there rather to be sour, than to make a good beer that happens to be sour. This is not the balans I expect from a well made sour ale.

[ As The Rare Barrel There Are Rules ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, barnyard, leather, tart, peach, apricot, raspberry, sour lemon. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, dry, peach, apricot, raspberry, lemony. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180920] 8-3-8-3-15

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is apricots, peach, raspberries, light acetone and sharp barrel flavours. Taste is apricots, lightly acetonic, earthy, grains. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Classic Rare Barrel.
