Pale Ale with Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic.

A recipe that's been with us from the very start. Layers of orange peel and juicy grapefruit, a smooth bitterness and top notes of pine, refreshing apricot and passion fruit; this is a perfectly balanced session beer.

NOTE: this beer was originally branded as one of Left Handed Giant's from 2017-2020, at which point it was switched to LHG Brewpub as it became their house beer. From 2024 it has been brought back to the main Left Handed Giant brand.

Tap at Fresh Fest. Bit hazy light yellow with white head. Dry oats and soft grains, light pineapple, papaya, soft minerals. Light sweet and bitter. Over light bodied. Quite clean and fresh with nice hops. Very drinkeable.

Tap at Small Bar, Bristol. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, grass and dank hops. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

A slightly hazy pale yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and floral; lemon and mango. A light sweet fruity taste, lemony and sweet herbal flavours. A light dry citrusy bitterness in the finish.

19/5/2018. Can from Steam Town, Eastleigh. Pours lime gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, mandarin, lemon and lime juice, grass and flowers. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewery during the East Bristol Brewery Trail. Hazy pale golden with a small white frothy head. Aroma of citrus fruits, light bready malts. Taste is fruity, orange, lemon zest, light sweet bready malts, rindy bitterness. Light-medium bodied, soft carbonation. Really nice easy drinking pale ale.

Keg at the Southern. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, faint pineapple. Taste is light sweet up front, bitterness building down the glass. Hint of lemon and lime.

Dan's Stag. Wild Beer taproom. Keg. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and has modest fine carbonation. Airy malts, mildly sweet. Semi sweet floral mid. Mild citrus with a touch of pith. Fairly dry finish. Okay, bit bland perhaps.

Keg at Wild Beer WW. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, doughy white bread, grass, soft fruits and straw. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, straw, grass, doughy white bread, citrus peel, cracker and light soap with a drying finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Fresh, clean and chuggable.

Keg at Wild Beer - Bristol. Pours mostly clear yellow with a foamy, white head. Lovely aroma, some pale bread, lemon peel, pith, biscuits. Light sweet flavour with soft rindy bitterness, juicy citrus, supportive pale malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, morwbpithy lemon, grapefruit. Super drinkable. Nice way to start the day.
