Cask at Slater’s, Stafford. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a dense white head and good lacing. Aroma is just a vague one of summer fruits. In the mouth, there is an initial burst of tangerine, which is soon replaced by a strong raspberry flavour. There are sweet malts too plus a hint of strawberries. The finish is slightly bitter. Not bad at all, but this is a beer best appreciated at the height of summer, rathehr than a cold wet autumn afternoon.

Hand-pulled cask pint on 26th Sep 2018, in The William Withering, Wellington, Shropshire. Murky, dull orange body, white crown. Red berries abound in both the aroma and taste with Raspberries being the main player, I thought I found some Strawberry flavours too. One pint was enough, but I enjoyed it.

Part of my 2013 backlog, and tried at the 2013 peterborough beer festival. Golden colour with a thinnish white head. Aroma has raspberries and so does the taste, with some caramel sweetness.
