Baltic Porter is the treasure of the Baltic Sea countries. Called “the black gold”, it will greet you with the aromas of liquorice, caramel, chocolate and treacle, while the flavour will add amazing fullness and warming alcohol. To top it off, we added moderate bitterness provided by the classic Polish hops, making this beer a perfect dessert drink.

500ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Liquorice, plain chocolate, black treacle and some hints of berries in the aroma. Liquorice, roasted malt, coffee and some burnt notes in the taste.

Bottle from some Polish web shop. Very dark chestnut brown color. Aroma of dark malt, coffee, caramel, chocolate. Dark malt, caramel, coffee, nougat, molasses, banana, vanilla. Warming alcohol. Nice.

Bottle from drinkshop.sk Pours black with quickly dissappearing chocolate head. Roasted malts and coffee beans on nose as well as alcohol. Tastes boozy, sweetish, dark chocolate, reisins. Nice one.

50cl bottle. From Funky Fluid webshop. Poured pitch black in color. Coffee, chocolate, molasses and roastedness in a good balance, even though sweetness lurking as the beer warms up. Dark chocolate and roasted coffee makes it interesting.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, chocolate, roasty and coffee notes, light pralines notes, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty chocolate bitter sweet finish. Good.

many thanks for this sample to Tomek. pachnie likierem mozarta, troche lubeckim marcepanem, truflami. w smaku slodkawe z czekolada likierowe malo kawowe, dobre ale szalu nie ma.

500ml bottle, many thanks to djoeye for sharing. Black in the glass, naked surface, spotty lacing. Promising smell of roasted dark malt, hints of liquorice. Plain black malty flavours, moments of grainy chocolate and liquorice. Coffee notes towards the finish, smoothly roasted. Medium plus bodied. Likable. (Rating session with lmojoh, Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 03.12.2020).
