The first ever beer brewed here at Alvarado Street Brewery and a local favorite at our Monterey brewpub. This Rustic West Coast IPA is brewed with 100% British Maris Otter pale malt and fermented with a German yeast strain to maximize the creamy rich body. Dry hopped exclusively with Simcoe and Citra both T90 and Cryo that deliver a blast of pine, grapefruit and fresh squeezed orange juice folded around a blend of sweet berries.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Citrus pine aroma. Med body or more. Flavor is citrus pine; near dank. Lots of hop flavor. Nice caramel backbone. Firmly bitter finish.

[2/16/15] Draught at Alvarado Street Brewery in Monterey. Cloudy golden-orange. Lovely fruity hops aroma. Flavor has light sweetness, nice fruity hops and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Very good.
