Pour is a clear as a bell gold with a large white foamy head. Aroma is a little yeasty ester and a little spice. Flavor is more spicy bitter hops some dry bread malts and a very spritzy carbonation. Decent as far as golden ales go.

Bottle a tight the cabin, NH. Pours clear gold, bubbly, with a small, foamy white head. Basic but drinkable gear, some crispy pale malts, fine doughy botes, bitter hay. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Fairly dry in the finish, a few papery notes, more pale bread. So so.

Pours amber with a thick foamy head. Weak aroma of bread. Tastes like a typical ale, decent amount of carbonation with a very crisp mouthfeel. Palate hints at citrus while also allowing for some yeasty notes to come through. Good beer.

From the mixed case at BJ's Deep golden color with a frothy white head. Bready crackery pilsner maltiness with hints of floral spicy hops. Middle of the road beer.

12 oz bottle from the summer variety pack. Aroma is doughy, bready malt, candy circus peanuts. Pours clear golden with a collapsing white head; settles into a ring and skiff of foam pretty quick. Taste has a moderate malt sweetness with some less than moderate hoppiness. A basic style expertly crafted by a brewer who knows how to make beer, but it's pretty boring. Simple easy refreshment crafted with skill.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a vibrant dark golden color with a large foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma sweet, phenolic, yeasty and a bit tangy with a hint of golden fruit. The flavor was tangy and sweet with yeast and faint golden fruit. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

Okay, in the way a glass of tap water's okay, with a discernible bread-n-butter malt front accented by a slight graininess and mild hints of pear and apple. All that jazz about the "spicy, citrus and floral character of Cascade hops" is a pipe dream, though--there's a mild, mild bitterness on the back end from the Cascades, but hops ain't got nothin' to do with this pint. Better than macro swill, but there's absolutely no reason to drink this over a regular Sam Adams Boston Lager. Pours a lovely clear gold with a brief white head and slight lacing. Perky texture's light-bodied and good for warm-weather drinkin'. Fruity nose doesn't play out in the taste. Looks like the American Summer mix pack is the one to skip.
