Our flagship IPA get funked up. Punk meets funk for an immersive lesson in fermentation. Aged in fiant foeders and dry hopped to oblivion. Old World meets new in this returned ale. Perfectly balanced, funky and complex flavours. Tropical fruits on the nose followed by punchy juicy dry notes and a little spice packed to the rafters with citrus hop flavour. A silky, chewy body culminates in a canvas dry finish.

Endelig er det tid for RBHD-møte, denne gangen ombord på Fridtjofen, og vi nærmer oss de siste doseringer i kveldens behandling av diagnosen (Repetitive Beer Hunting Disorder): Det lukter grønne druer, piss, brett, bestmors kjøkkenskap med gammel grønnsakbuljong, i det hele tatt en meget blandet mottagelse. Jeg synes den dufter og smaker ganske godt uansett. En pussig blanding av grønne druer og rødvin. 0,5 flaske fra helsekosten i Verksgata.

Pretty cloudy blond to beige beer, creamy nice decent head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty funky, lots of overripe fruits, pears, lambic, brett, bit weird, some dragon fruits. MF: lots of carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft acidity up front, funky, fruity, pears, apple skin, dry, spicy, wood notes. Aftertaste: dusty, bitter lemon peel, not my cup of tea.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Hazy orange, white head. Fruity, citrus, orange, some apricots, moderate sourness, sweetish. Medium bodied. Not my thing.

Keg at BD Tower Hill, 30/10/19. Clear golden blonde with a decent white cap. Nose is citric tinged straw, stoned fruits, grass, melon, hay bale, modest funk. Taste comprises citric zest, stale bread, light hedgerow, lemon rind, light base funk, grass, stoned fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a hint of leafy hop bitterness allied to a mellow sour edge. Ok but a little neither here nor there and twixt ipa and sour.
