On cask at the Caley Picture House. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Light haze. Nose - light citrus and orchard fruits. Malt bag too. Taste - apples and burnt bread. Palate - creamy and tangy from start to finish. Bitter. Overall - interesting to keep these old hop varietals going. Could they be better used in an ESB perhaps?

Half at the Crosse Keys. It looked really pretty in the glass and there was a definite spiciness to the taste from the hops. However, that was about it and I was crying out for other flavours. I've wanted to try this for a while, but was a bit disappointed.
