--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Black, small head. Aroma of licorice and dark bread. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Hard roasted malt with coffee and licorice, some caramel. Mid bitter finish.

440ml Can - Black in colour. Coffee, roasted malt and hints of berries in the aroma. Roasted and slightly earthy taste with coffee, chocolate, liquorice and berries detected. Hints of smoky ash can be detected in the roasted and slightly sweet finish.

15/4/2022. Draught at the Briarbank Easter Beer Festival. Pours black with a small frothy light beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, treacle, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Thin tan head on a deep mahogany coloured still body. Coffee & malt aroma. Medium bodied thinning out to a clean back - minimal carbonation. Coffee, dark chocolate, faint herbal & bitter tastes. Easy going.

Tap at Wishful Drinking, Rickmansworth. Poured almost black with a short-lived frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, dark chocolate and liqourice. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a rich, roasty, light oily, chocolate, coffee, light smoky palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
