In search of an after supper tipple that isnt 50% proof? After Supper is an imperial coffee and chocolate porter with just a smidgeon of lightly smoked malt. Put on a velvet smoking jacket but put away the brandy and cigars.

Keg at Bar Under the Bridge, Southbank. Malty chocolate aroma but low key. Muddy cola town. Disappointingly thin creamy beige head. Chcolate sweetness with a bitter streak. Didn't get the smoke. Actually a bit sickly but that may be the greasy burger I just scoffed. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average - fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Not a hit with me - may be the prior burger and beers but find it a tad boring.
