Charlton draught, 6/27/24. Hazy, almost milky, lemon merengue. Small, white head, steadily to ring. Rich wheat with authentic, well-presented phenols and esters. Lots of juicy banana tempered by light clove spice and lower bubble gum. Clean, polished. Soft, round, chewy. Zesty phenols and lingering strong white pepper. A real pleasant texture with aforementioned chewy wheat and a tight, almost fuzzy carbonation. Just enough malt sweetness to balance the spicy phenols. Dry, crusty, flavorful wheat and more peppery spice linger on the clean, flavorful finish.

Aroma is biscuit, bread, banana, clove. Taste is clean, refreshing, great on a summer day.

I love hefes but not sure if it's the kettle sour day I've been having or the top horsepower stout I had but this seems overly estery. Lots of bananas and cloves, not much yeasty breadyness, sweet af. Outside of the style I do like it for the moment.

16oz can pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Classic nose, banana, clove, bubblegum, some pear. Flavors are the same, bubblegum, malt, flowers, clove. Finishes mostly dry.

16 oz. can. Nice aroma of biscuit bread and some light banana. Flavor shows crisp clean wheat flavor with just enough banana to not be too sweet. Not much other spice flavors like cloves. But the bubblegum and banana phenols work. Nice representation of a German hefe.

Pours a slightly hazy, lemonade-ginger ale color, with mid-sized, but fast-dissipating head. Aroma has banana and clove elements, which are also present in the flavor. Clean and crisp mouthfeel. I haven't had a wheat beer in awhile--this is a good one.

Pours a nice light gold from a can. Huge banana and clove aroma, maybe a little bubble gum, classic hefe. Flavor is somewhat sweet, same notes as the nose. Good beer.
