Øl med lynghonning fra Nationalpark Thy. Ulven Kommer! er en velkendt historie, men også virkeligheden for dette øls hjemland. Honningen i øllet, har vi hentet i Nationalpark Thy, hvor man fandt den første døde ulv i nyere tid. Skelettet kan nu bl.a. ses på Zoologisk Museum i København, men ”turnerer” også rundt på andre af landets museer. Ulven er også set i nærheden af bryggeriet…………..Aauuuuuuuuuuhhh. Strong Ale på 6 % alc.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear dark amber with an off-white head. Sweet, malty, toffeeish aroma. Rich, sweet, malty body with a distinct honey note. Toffeeish and biscuity. Very little hops to be detected. A little cloying perhaps, but no flaws as such. 240619

Bottle 500ml. @ home.[ As Hvide Sande Ulven Kommer ].Light unclear medium red amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, honey, honey wax, sweet malt, sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, honey, caramel, sugar, brown sugar, caramelized malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190612] 5-3-5-3-9

Draft. A hazy brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, nuts, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry finish.
