Note: The colors on the can label are usually determined from the city of its distribution. For example, in Pgh the label colors are black and gold.

A Vienna lager: This hard-nosed lager was created to celebrate the legacy of our city’s legendary team. A formidable, amber appearance and smooth-operating malt character holds the line of scrimmage, while a combination of old and new-world hops rush in for the sack! Pairs best with tailgate fare or chips you’ve dropped on your couch cushions.

Pounder can for one buck at JR's on the clearance rack, yeah! Virtually clear pale with a small white foamy head. I also noted this can comes in various colors depending on what city you buy. Example; I'm in the Pgh area so it comes in a black and gold color, hehehh. the smell of this is typical pale macro lager with some cream corn in there but, I'm glad to see its listed as an amber lager because, even tho it looks like a pale lager, the initial taste has much more personality, like an american premium lager, with good noble hops fer sher. Decent co2 level as well, if drank right from the can. Yes, not sure if its an amber/vienna, its less than that, but its certainly more than a cheap pale macro american lager, oh yea. Does not have the sweet near cloying character of an vienna. Not bad overall, easy to drink with just a few ill manners.

From Beer Drop best by February 18th 2026.

It pours a clear pale gold with oodles of foam, excellent retention and lacing.

The smell is hoppy, a little bit spicy, some light bread, perhaps a little too much hop aroma for a Vienna Lager.

The taste is hoppy, good notes of bread, somewhat spicy, grassy with hints of fruit.

Medium bodied, right amount of carbonation, I would drink this again.

Can: pours dark gold with white head. Bready, some grassiness. Taste us sweetish, lightly bitter, mostly pale maltiness.

16 oz can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy gold color with a white head and great retention. Very good lacing. Lots of fine streaming bubbles. Light caramel malt aroma. Light caramel malt flavor too, with a lightly bitter finish. Kind of a cross between a pale lager and a Vienna lager, leaning towards the pale side. Smooth and clean, and very good. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Light bitterness.
