Undated can, drunk 5/26/22. Rusty amber, clear. Off-white head is small, showing low retention. Caramel, sweet hazelnut filling, light mineral and toast. Strong base malt with heavy honey mixing with medium malts leading to long caramel and mild toast. Texture is very soft, bordering sluggish without as much crisp hop acid and yeast mineral as needed. Lingering sluggish, overly sweet, caramelly malts.

Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Tan head with excellent retention pancakes as it recedes leaving scant lacing. Dark caramel aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and molasses upfront turning to earthy raisin brown bread and bitter roots in the medium length finish.

16 oz can. Deep amber color. Aroma if toffee, toasted grain, spice. Flavor shows toasted grain, caramel with grassy and spicy hop notes. Body is medium with a dry bitter finish. A hybrid between a Vienna lager and a Czech Pilsner. Real good.
