Clean crisp beer. Not a lot of bold flavours, fairly neutral. Some slightly raisin-like with medium body for a lager. 2017 beer advent

330mL bottle, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subdued toasted bready malt and light caramel. Flavour is similar, with bready malt, light caramel, and toasted nuts. Weak and watery on the palate, but the flavours are pleasant enough. Decent.

Looks a bit flat, but is medium brown. There's some plasticy phenols on the nose, and there's some decent brown sugar notes as well. There's still some brown sugar notes on the palate, but it does come across a bit thin. Not really the good liquid bread I want in a doppelbock. Too plasticy and sticky for my taste.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber-brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of bready malt, dark fruit, caramel and a hint of nuts. Sweet flavour of bready malt, toffee, raisin, cola and almonds with a dry, light boozy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft to almost flat carbonation. Nice.

Bottle from Redcliffe Farm Shop near Scarborough. Clear brown with no head and a light but prickly fizz. Big raisin flavour with cola, fudge, dark rum, and a hint of lemon and grass in background. Mainly run and raisin fudge. Sweet but dry. Pretty good stuff actually.
