16oz can c/o Ryan. Really nice beer! On a level of Saison that I don't see many breweries getting to, which is always nice. Lemon lime brightness, on the edge of fruity sour, perhaps accentuated there by the Hallertaur Blanc. Really enjoyable for the style. Puts Fair Isle on my map for sure.

Junction Road store. Aromas are classic saison with a little citrus and herbs. Flavors are similar to nose, add in citrus rind and good balance between bitter, sweet, and tart with just right carbonation. Nice beer.

4oz pour at brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma damp wood and sea salt, some dry almost smoky wood, a bit of a funky punch. Flavour is dry; wood, dry grass. Nice grassy character.

Poured from 473mL can @ Weathered 2023. Cloudy blonde with small white head. Oaky, slightly rustic, simple profile.

16 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is quinine, lemon zest, cardamom, and leather. Dry and musty, with a brisk, herbal bitterness. Light and sticky, and quite harsh. Complex and quality.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a large white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has grass and white wine notes with a light tartness and a hint of flora underlying. Flavor has a nice flora and light tart fruit note with a bit of hay and white wine supporting.

Pale with a slight haze. Lots of brett and some nice orchard fruit stuff - quince, pear. Thin and dry, mellow brett and again lots of that quince-pear thing. To me this is a beer that really shows why H blanc is such an exciting hop. Hard to work with but get it right and it’s magic.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice yeast profile, with plenty of rustic yeast and a touch of wild bugginess. Flavour is very buggy, with lots of wild bacteria, gentle rustic character, and a hint of tartness. Buggy and rustic on the palate. Very good.
