--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, minimal brown head. Aroma of licorice, pepper and and dark bread. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Brown sugar, grapefruit, burnt caramel. Resinous bitter finish with warming alcohol. Interesting and well made beer!

Bottle @ Brewery. Pours amber copper with a small white head and lacings. Vinous, dry and full bodied. Dark fruit and caramel/toffee. Warming sipper.

Bottle from the brewery webshop. Dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma of toffee, milk chocolate and dried fruit. Sweet malty and light roasted flavour with a touch of smoke. Warm alcohol.

Clear, slightly oily dark mahagony with lasting creamy beige head. Malty, caramely, slightly woody aroma, hops. Sweet flavour, caramel, dark malt, hoppy bitterness, a little chocolate and dried fruit.
