Borefts pre-tasting, 2018. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy, mostly lasting off white head. The aroma is malt, light red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate to light sour with a light, crisp, fresh, tart fruit, light salty palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation.

Bottle at The Sweatest Tasting, Superstition edition. Hazy dark brown with white head. Sweet roasted malts, rye, cocoa powder, very woody and quite sour and salty for a stout. Moderate sweet more sour and bitter and salty. Over medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle (from BXLbeerfest). Pours dark brown-black with light brownish head. Aroma is very fruity, black current, sweetness, some soap. Flavor is sour, roast, coffee, oatmeal, black current, malt. Finish is sour. Covers alocohol well. Overall: bit weird, but works for me.

Thx for organizing & hosing kraddel! 750 ml. bottle sampled. This blend sounded very weird but turned out to be massively tasty & way better than both base beers. Dark brown red, little head. Nose is salty, roasted, chocolate, faint sweet bbq sauce almost. Taste is liquorice, salty, chocolate, really reminds me of a liqueur & cassis filled praline / chocolate , huge candy profile, chocolate, dark berries, adore the praline profile. Extremely good balanced.
