Axe raised to the power of X. Where X is dry hopping increased by 200%. 20% oats added to the grist for enhanced mouthfeel and character and IBU's significantly reduced.

Can from Cork & Cask. Murky golden/amber body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of orange peel, peanut and apricot. Flavour of bitter orange pith, salted bread and straw. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Fruity and bitter. It’s good, but fresh Axe Edge is better.

Can. First canned beer from this brewer. Beer Central, Sheffield. Opaque, deep orange. Film of fully lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has yellow melon skin. Pineapple stalk. Some overripe citrus. Ripe mango. Some sweet, oat infused malts. Taste is a little sweet and creamy to start, getting full on, Buxton bitter. Medium body. A little oily and leafy. Low carbonation. Sweet oat and ripe mango to finish. Well it’s all there, but it doesn’t quite come together, really. The milky oats don’t gel with that Buxton bitterness.
