This, the thirty-seventh entry in our blended barrel-aged Farmstead® ale collection, spans more than five years and is comprised of wine barrel-aged Anna from late winter 2019, Wheat Blanc from late spring 2019, and a few additional selected threads from late 2018. The barrel lineage for this assembly includes Sarrasin, Works of Love, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, Flora, Ann, and Art.
Its unhurried journey from brew day to assembly to glass traverses nearly four years of conditioning in the bottle prior to release. Observing this over these four years in bottle, we anticipate that this blend has an extended path of positive expression for the next 5 (or more) years; its current manifestation exhibits a delightful balance of integrated acidity, texture, and weight.
We can now present another blended experience of time, place, and patience.

Pours a lightly hazy, pale copper-gold, with minimal head. Aroma is quite sour--fruit, wine-barrel, wild yeast. Flavors follow, with a fairly acidic finish. Mouthfeel is pretty clean and crisp.

750ml bottle drunk 9/12/25.
Bright copper-bronze-maize. Small, off-white head.
Bright, fruity, easygoing Brett with a more acidic lacto accent. Mild oak and wine with rustic grains and hints of honey and bread. Soft, with juicy acidity and fruitiness and easygoing oakiness lingering.
Juicy citrus notes with orange zest and hints of lemon and lime. Soft oak and big, fruity, easygoing Brett. Very soft all around, with deep malts showing bread and honey. No big lacto, even. Citrus and orange wine lingering with gentle oak and biscuit. Just a study in balance and drinkability.

Bottle pour at the RB DC sendoff meetup. Poured a mostly clear yellow-orange color with a small, wispy head. Aroma was tart, pleasant oaky notes. Light, funky, with pleasant vinous tartness. White grapes, light honey.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a relatively large white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some vinous notes and oak presence can also be detected. Taste is also a good mix of tart notes with light funky ester with some vinous notes and oak with no noticeable acidic notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable sour ale with a good level of complexity.

Bottle thanks to Jason. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is mineral, oak, some funk, citrus. Thin body, lemon zest, mineral, oak, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.
