330ml bottle from Noz Nieppe. Pours a deep clear reddish chestnut amber, good frothy off-white head. Quite a full flavoured red.. deep amber malt character with autumnal sweet tangents. Nice.

Clear deep copper with a moderate ivory-coloured head. Caramel & toast, nail polish esters, salt, treacle, burnt sugar, fruity hints, grassy hop. Light to medium sweet and bitter,. Simple. Little interesting.

Taster. Pours a clear, orange color, with a small, beige head. The nose is anisette, cloves, caramel apple, banana taffy, and lavender. Sweet and sugary, with a mellow, grainy bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and quite biting. Fun, estery, and tasty.

Great beer. Top notch boozy red. Super malt forward, low bitterness , yet not sweet malty. Well made very unique these days. Brugge bottle shop

Bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van karamel, wat toffee en wat rode bessen, en aardbei. Heel fijn drinkbaar bier.

Fles 33cl thuis. Caramel, redelijk boozy, rood fruit, vrij zacht, wat toffee, maltig, toast, bittertonen in nadronk, wat droog. (26-5-2024).

Deep red colour with thin head. Aroma of caramel, raisins. Similar sweet taste. Quite boozy. Ok but lacking some complexity.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 20 Oct 2023) Reddish copper colour with creamy, tan head. Malty nose with caramel, bread, toast, red fruit and toffee. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, toffee, toast, red fruit and a gentle spicy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Warming, but hides it's 9% pretty well. Nice one.
