Poured from a can into a 20oz nonic pint
Opaque, dark brown bordering black, two fingers of dense tan head sits that lasts and lasts leaving some nice lacing when it finally starts to disapate.
Aroma of caramel, roast and hints of chocolate.
Taste follows the aroma with the roast playing heavily into the fairly bitter finish
Wicked smooth medium body, finishes dry and drinks really easy.
Overall a tasty Irish dry stout. Light and easy drinking enough for a session with plenty of substance to keep you coming back for more. The dryness makes you want to keep taking that next drink and I'm all for it

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a two finger khaki foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did some light lace appeared
Aroma: black coffee, some earthiness, cocoa powder and light nuttiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to roasty blend; finishes dry and bitter
Texture: light bodied, somewhat sessionable as there's a good amount of dryness running all along the tongue with a touch of some smoothness
Overall: yes sirree this is definitely an Irish dry stout and one I would welcome again.

Draft shaker pint at The Highroller Lobster Co. in Portland, Maine. The pour is a slightly cloudy black brown black, nitro settling, building up to a one inch light tan, lasting head. The aroma is malty, creamy, sweet and a slight roast. The taste is a smooth, light roast caramel malt and a velvety vanilla finish. The palate is light bodied with a nitro mouthfeel. silky velvety and a clean roast and mineral finish. Nice, restrained and fresh.

Nitro at the brewery, 7/5/24. Clear, black. Beige head, creamy, full. Fresh mineral and easygoing unmalted barley. Clean, aromatic, not over-roasted. Soft, rich, malty, but drying and thinning in the finish properly, adding to drinkability. Mineral and base malt with very tasteful amounts of darker malts/barley. Excellent minerality and water quality.
