Bittle shared at Dave's deal with the devil again tasting. Many thanks. A thick chewy dark brown black coloured pour with a reluctant tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, spicy wood, toasted coconut, chocolate fruit cake, raisin. Flavour is composed of oily, toasted coconut, Warming alcohol, brown sugars spicy cedar wood, Warming alcohol, toasted coconut. Palate is semi sweet oily, light tang, moderate carbonation, woody tannin.

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Airy soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation, fine for the style. Soft dark malts, plenty of vanilla, a mild dark chocolate where the vanilla intersects with the mellow dark malts. Some alcohol spice on the finish. Tasty but not that complex.

Dark brown, no head. It's got intense bitter chocolate, light vanilla. On the palate, it's got more of the bitter chocolate, rounded vanilla. Mellow barrel, actually, but it's refined. I like that lingering almost burnt-type note. Good bitterness. Excellent, damn it hits my pocket in terms of bitter chocolate and quality barrel.

22oz (thx, Matt!) @ Salesforce. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: American oak, chocolate, some nice vanilla. Taste: thick, low to moderately sweet, vanilla, lots of pretty nice oak. Overall: good one.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is rich, with tons of vanilla, dark sugars, and plenty of bourbon barrels. Flavour is extremely rich, with tons of dark sugars, rich vanilla, and big bourbon notes that round things out. Extremely rich and sticky, with shitloads of vanilla and bourbon to round things out. Massive BA vanilla stout. Excellent, but I can't call it elegant.

Creamy white fair mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter fantastic flavor. Long great finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle from Nikita: pours ruby black with small head. Aroma is whiskey, vanilla, chocolate, dark fruit. Taste is quite sweet. Fruity. Plenty of vanilla. A lot.
