Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Malty-moldy aroma. Starts mild, soft-malty, wheaty. Some spicy notes. Light lemon touch. Finish well balanced. Grasy-malty. Quite drinkable. Interesting one.

Bottle from the Kalea Advent Calendar, consumed at home Sunday 6th April 2025, cooking Spicy Pork and Fennel Polpette in a Rich Tomato Sauce and also making Triple Chocolate Brownies. Pours gold, white head, good clarity. Run of the mill Pils, lacks a really good crisp bitter dryness, it's fine but nothing I would rush back to.

Can. Clear gold in color with a three finger head. Aroma is grains and straw. Taste is also grains and straw.

Gemischtporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, klare goldgelbe Farbe; in der Nase frisch mit leicht zitrisch-fruchtigem und dezent grasigem Hopfen; im Mund mit schlankem Körper, relativ trocken, leicht fruchtig mit etwas Grapefruit im Nachtrunk, mittlere gut integrierte Hopfenbittere. Insgesamt ein unauffälliges, solides Pils, aber meines Erachtens eher guter Durchschnitt.

Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is malty with some caramel, bready malt, soft noble hop. Slightly buttery. Flavour is a bit sweetish with a moderate bitterness. Medium body. Decent, pretty caramalt-oriented.

500 ml can #18 from the 2023 Costco Advent calendar. Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a white head and very good retention. Very little lacing. Very light, soft malt aroma. Tastes more like a pale lager or Helles than a pilsner. Very herbal overall. Not crisp or sharp. Not a fan of this interpretation of the style. Soft mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Lower than average carbonation. Lightly bitter.

16.9 oz. can. Poured a clear yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was straw, earthy hops. Flavor was similar: Light yeast, some grassy notes. Crisp and easy to drink.
