Hamburg's beer tradition is closely linked to the Hanseatic League. Beer was exported from Hamburg 500 years ago. We brew this beer as a reminder of this important part of Hamburg's history. Pils is perhaps the most casually drunk drink. Going ashore is our alternative.

33cl bottle. A clear deep golden beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of aromatic grassy and floral hops, citrus, hay. Taste of floral hops, citrusy hops, hay, not too bitter, nice!

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly bready malty aroma, some malt spiciness, a touch of rye crispbread, herbal-grassy hoppy overtones with a waxy touch, almost turning into buttermilk. Taste is herbal-grassy hoppy, almost a bit tart, notes of chlorophyll, nettle, thistle, sorrel, bready malty background with rye crispbread touch.
