Triple barrel-aged imperial stout aged in rye, then bourbon, then rye once more.

Bigger, better, grander. Originally brewed in 2021 with our friends at Boulevard Brewing, One & Dunn returns better than ever in its Grand Reserve, or triple barrel-aged, iteration. After spending its first year in rye whiskey barrels, then its second year in bourbon barrels, it’s back to the original with its third year in Graton Distilling rye whiskey barrels. Enjoy notes of oaky rye barrel earthiness, roasted malt, and dark chocolate.

Sweet, roasty and heavy with some rye barrel, licorice, boozy earthiness, syrup and warming alcohol. Heavy.

pitch black with barrel aged bubbly small head that is very dark brown.
A lot of booze and some coconut in the aroma. also roasted malts, chocolate, rye.
Flavor is really good, roasted malts, wood, whiskey, faint smoked note, booze liqeur feel to it, cause it's so strong. end is slightly boozy and only very little more roasted malty than the initial impression.

0,375l bottle from Drikbeer advent calendar 2024, #24. Almost black beer with medium brown head. Small rim stays long time. Aroma is coffee, tobacco, ashes, roasted malts and woody barrel. Flavor is roasted malts, wood, barrel, dried dark fruits, chocolate, red wine twist, coffee, rye and vanilla. Full body, warm and sweet, some alcohol but in good balance. Huge beer, excellent in every aspect.
