PILS – jasne piwo dolnej fermentacji, warzone przy użyciu jasnych słodów jęczmiennych i chmielu aromatycznego. Cechuje się wyraźnym chmielowym aromatem, w smaku przeplata się jasny słód jęczmienny oraz chmielowa goryczka. Ekstrakt piwa 12,5°Plato, zawartość alkoholu ok. 5,3% obj.
Gatunek ten został uwarzony po raz pierwszy w czeskim Pilźnie w 1842 roku, gdzie uzyskano jasne i klarowne piwo z wyraźną goryczką.

Tasting glass, golden beer, small head, aroma is malt, grain, light fruit. Taste is the same, grainy malt, light grain dust, citrus/lemon, bitter, dry. Not bad.

Gulbrun lett tåkete med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter lett karamell og korn. Lett+. Godt med bitterhet til å være pils, barnål og lett brent karamell og ristet brød.

[ As Piwna Pils ].
ABV: 5.3%. Cloudy - hazy medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, grain, pale malt, floral. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20190425]

Draught @ Browar Piwna, Gdansk. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, grassy hops. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, yeasty, flowers, bitter grassy hops. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and nice bitter finish. 051117

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with some hoppy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced notes of yeast and malt. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation. Satiating mouthfeel. Reasonable.

On tap. Pours a clear golden color. Medium-bodied, pleasantly hoppy with a tiny touch of cardboard and slightly malty.
