Blend of 2 year old mead and 30 month Danish Stauning rye whiskey barrel aged barley wine with 35 kg. strawberries, 10 kg of black currants, and 8 liters of freshly pressed rhubarb juice pr. barrel. Aged 1 year in oak barrels.

Tap. Hazy ruby-orange color with white head. Aroma is big cherry and raspberry, honey, barrel. Taste has a definite beer body, not the usual mead body, weird blend. Oily mouthfeel, feels almost watery for a mead, but a fun flavour profile.

On tap at MBCC 2023, pours a hazy bright pinkish red, small white head. Aroma brings out whiskey barrels, honey nectar, strawberries and red currants. Flavour is rich, with intense strawberries, red currants, whiskey barrels, and oak. Intense, complex and cohesive. I don't detect the barley wine character. Lovely.
