Pure white frothy head soon left a good cover on a finely carbonated, pale golden body. Herbaceous aroma, spicy, zesty citrus & yeast. Medium bodied, tingly on the palate but smooths out over the back to leave a cloying finish. Taste is very similar to the aroma, herbs, sweet citrus, banana, yeast & fruity, tangy, bitter aft.

30ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly funky, herbal-spicy, minimally fruity and citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of brine, a touch of pear. Taste is dry, fruity, minimally bready malty, herbal-spicy yeasty, hints of apple, a touch of pear, sage, woodruff, citrusy hoppy overtones. Quite rich, very harmonius, light and refreshing.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin, persistent white head. Aromas of light spice, bread, floral hops. Taste is more of the same. Peppery linger.

330 ml bottle gifted by Leighton, much thanks! Pale yellow hazy pour with a lasting finger of white head. Aroma is lemon, yeast, a wisp of spice and a slight grassiness. Flavor is pretty much spot on the aroma. This is a spot on clone of the original saison style ale. Mouthfeel is not to spicy, good yeast presence. Real nice!

Bottle from Leighton. Hazy dark orange. Small white head. Smells great. Super peppery, lemon and eggs. Solid carb, almost effervescent. Juicy lemon and honey finish. Spice and sourdough yeast.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw, spices, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, hops, and hay, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle at home. It pours clear pale straw yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, green banana, candy, double bubble, straw, earth and cereal. The taste is crisp, dry, straw, grassy, peppery spice, slightly herbal, hay, green banana, soda water and citrus zest with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. OK saison, but lacks a bit of wow factor.
