Nothing says “Spring” like cherry blossoms! We created this Cherry Maibock in celebration of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The annual festival commemorates Tokyo Mayor Yukio Ozaki’s 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees to the city of Washington, D.C., a symbol of the growing friendship between the people of the United States and Japan.

Can from the brewery. Poured a clear, ruby red color with a very small, almost wispy head. Not a whole lot of cherry, maybe a little too much barrel as in is a touch boozy. I don't know, this was okay. Light barrel, some mild vanilla, a touch boozy.

Draught at source: pours reddish. Boozy vanilla and cherry notes. Butterscotch finish. Kind of sweet. Sort of boozy.
