Cask at the Rights of Man, Lewes. It pours clear copper with a decent white head. The aroma has a decent malt character of brown bread, cereal, light spice and earth, coupled with some pleasant citrus notes of orange and tangerine. The taste is pretty robust, bitter- sweet, brown bread, earthy, wood, spice, leather, caramel, stewed orange and tangerine with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty well rounded Harveys bitter with a citrus aspect. Solid.

Sampled from tap at ’The Shakespeare’. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity, floral and a bit herbal-grassy aroma of orange jam, honey and some lemongrass. Sweetish, slightly bitter, moderately fruity, quite herbal-grassy taste of orange jam, tea leaves, lemongrass and some honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, herbal-grassy and quite dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
