Woodin Shades. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin dry malts mildly sweet. Touch of lime. Whisper of coconut. Little dry floral spice. Dry finish. It's all right entertainment on a works night out.

Cask @ Old Wellington, Manchester. Yellow-blonde with a frothy head. Its spiciness is low, and its hoppy pale ale character is high. It's likeable enough for its ordinariness.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2017. Thanks to Lars. Gold lasting thin head. Not a greag aroma but some good Thai a little too sweet some wood flavour. Not great a little dryness on the finish.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, lemony, lemongrass, spice, nutmeg, toasty grain, cereal and such like. The taste is dry, bitter, spice, fragrant, straw, grass, grain, tannin, wood, grapefruit and pepper with a very drying finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Not sure the balance is there.
