This batch of Bright was created to be a clean and elegant showcase for our favorite New Zealand hop - Nelson Sauvin! It is crafted with a simple malt bill and fermented with clean American Ale yeast to create a flavor profile that is more a function of its vibrant fresh ingredients than an expression of yeast character. Bright w/Nelson’s aroma and flavor is a bounty of white wine, sauvignon blanc grape, tropical fruit, and grass. She is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable yet intense Double IPA.. classic and delicious!

Can shared by Jack, thanks! Pours a slightly hazy earthy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has very dank citrus and light onion with grass and a bit of sweet grain supporting. Flavor has onion and light pine with straw strong dank citrus with a hint of grain backing.

Can from Chris D: pours just slightly hazy with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruitiness and a good bit of citrus. Taste is tangy, slightly bitter, not too sweet. Hints of onion. Solid.

Almost clear, light yellow, some fluffy white head. Hoppy, dry, a bit bitter. A west coast ipa with florals comes to mind. Somewhat fruity, nice.

Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of berries....yes, berries, with slight malt. Taste has flat malt with a straight punch of what I'm assuming nelson hops tastes like. Palate has light floral and grassy notes. Delicate and simple.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is deeply hazy yellow-orange with steady light sparkle at the edges of the glass, 3-finger width foamy white head with good excellent retention and sticky, sudsy lacing. Aroma is vinous grape, fruit, hint of scallion, yeast. Taste is burst of tangerine, herb, milder dry sparkling wine. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation, mild numbing of the lips, and finish as taste with lingering pleasant, dry bitterness. Overall, the nelson gives it almost a Brut-ish quality, though juicier than that. Not the most complex offering to blow your socks off but a solid offering.

473ml can from Tree House. Canned 01/24/19. Grassy, grainy and malty with some tropical notes, fruits and hay. Dry and malty. 3.7. Re-rated after a week. Feels a bit more balanced and fruity than before.
