We continued with series of beer labels with mythical creatures and legends. For those who spent their childhood playing strategy games like 'Heroes of Might and Magic' will surely recognize inspiration for this beer label.
Looking into the eye of the Basilisk will cause instantaneous thirst, however, even catching a glance of it in a reflection will cause crawing for beer or whimper effect! Beware!

Håndverkeren 260924. Orange color with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is tropical fruit, fruit, malt, pine, grapefruit, alcohol, grass. Easy drinkable beer.

Can, at håndverkeren. An unclear orange colored beer with a small white head. Some lacing. The aroma has piney and grapefruity hops, some grass and alcohol and a pleasant maltiness. It's full bodied and lightly warming, softly carbonated and with a nice but a bit gentle bitterness. There's pale malts and alcohol in the flavor, with piney, grapefruity and lightly tropical hops. Melon, green grapes and grass. Lasting hop driven finish with a nice underlying maltyness. Really nice this one. 240926

Gul uklar med hvitt skum. Lukter sydhavsfrukt, grapefrukt og noe vanilje. Middels fylde. Fruktig, lett bitter. Smaker sydhavsfrukt, noe granskudd og lys stenfrukt. Middels lang. (Oslo BrewFest 2024).

0.5 l can shared at the Jolly Rogers Recording Session. Hazy orange, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, fresh tropical aroma. Stone fruit, passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, lightly grassy, lightly grainy. Smooth, juicy, soft. Alcohol well hidden with a hint of warmth. Flavour is tropical fruit, fresh mango, passion fruit and banana, some malts, some grassy green tones. Minimal to light bitterness. Warming dry finish.

On tap @Pivnica Medonja, Varaždin. Murky orange pour, one finger frothy white head, short lasting. Sticky lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, juicy and herbal notes, tropical, citruses, light pine, subtle alcohol in the background. Medium body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, creamy. Nicely balanced taste, malty sweet with mild hop bitterness and somewhat pronounced alcohol. Aroma of caramel malt, grains, ripe tropical fruits. Citruses, pine. Oats. Boozy. Medium lasting finish, bittersweet, dry, juicy. Lingering alcohol. Tasty stuff.
