A blend of different batches of X-Ray aged in Nebbiolo barrels, cut afterwards with some freshly brewed X-Ray to which we added fresh Vanilla pods. Nose is a delicate encounter bewteen roasted notes from dark malts and vanilla flavor, together with some dried fruits. Mouth confirms nose feelings and it shows a higher drinkability than expected.

On tap @ ChiareScure Festival, Milano 2019.

Smell- weak, malt, yeast, acidic a bit bit of roast, bit weird. Foam- I think thin, large in mouth slightly sour and roasted. Head is large, medium-dark brown color, cocoa foam. Appearance- unique brewer bottle cap, no bonus for the bottle, even when lettering raised and all that (does look fancy though), very dark brown, almost black it seems, no carbonation. Taste- sour, roast and malt, citrus and yeast, not what I expected at all. Don't like it does feel off, but seems to have BBD of 2028 (And made in 2009 ? that's some long shelf life), after some time you get some more sweetness, malt and citrus and actual taste, but first hit of acidic sourness kills it and I will leave my score as it is .
