0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before April 2024. Very hazy, orange with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, quite yeasty-spicy slightly fruity aroma of banana, clove, some vanilla and a touch of pear. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of banana, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, pear, hints of honey and traces of nuts, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little boozy finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant Weizenbock, ticks all the boxes.

Flasche 0,5l: Bernstein, kräftige Trübung, kräftiger stabiler feinporiger Schaum; fruchtige + würzige Nase, leichte Süße, helle/eingelegte Früchte, leichte Zitrusnoten, blumig/floral, dezente Röstaromen, kräftig Malz, Getreide, Karamell, würziger Honig, kräftige Hefearomen, reife Bananen, fruchtig-würzige Bitterkeit; fruchtiger + würziger Körper, angenehme Süße, helle/eingelegte Früchte, leichte Zitrusnoten, leichte Röstaromen, kräftig Malz, Weizen, Karamell, cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, kräftige süßliche Hefenoten, reife Bananen, leichte fruchtige Hopfennoten; fruchtig-würziger Nachgang

Heller Weizenbock mit 7.3 % Alk. und unbekannter Stammwürze. Fruchtig, aromatischer Geruch (erinnert an Quitte). Fruchtig im Geschmack (die tolle Aromatik von Quitte kommt noch mal durch), sämige Getreidenoten, man schmeckt auch den hohen Alkoholgehalt. Ein schönes Bier.

Smell of wheat, some yeast. Cloudy golden colour, high white head. Aroma of wheat, vegetables, some overripe fruit, yeastiness in background. Sweet.

50cl bottle from Alko. Poured amber color with a thick white head. Aroma has ripe fruits, wheat and banana. Sweetness, banana, mild spices. Medium bodied.

A brown-yellow beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has wheat, spicyness, yeast. Taste has wheat, low spicyness. Medium+ bodied, smooth. Good beer.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Earlsdon, Coventry, 'Webshop'. Consumed at home Attenkirchen Thursday 31st October 2019 cooking 'Mushy Pea Fish Pie', listening to Steve Lamaq's Round Table. Pours mid amber with a white head. There is a little sourness amongst the banana and light yeasty notes, okay it's certainly infected but only ever so slightly, however Loz picked it up on the nose (along with banana) . Does this put me off? No not at all, in fact I rather like this, it's like a Weizen Bock with a dash of lambic. Soft carbonation but with a tingling tart bitey it's an interesting beer.

Bottle. Amber color. Caramel and banana sweets in the aroma. Wheaty, almost vinous flavor with banana sweets and caramel. Decent, slightly alcoholic.
