Can. Pours cloudy dark brown with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt, and dried fruit, with touches of liquorice and yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour of coffee, with notes of liquorice, malt and yeast, and touches of fruit and malt. Roasty aftertaste with estery notes. Reasonable but nothing truly extraordinary.

Can. Pours dark brownish black with medium offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malt, sweet liquorice, caramel, sugar and hints of coconut milk. Taste is very sweet, light bitter and faint acidic. Body is watery with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, malt syrup, roasted malt, caramel, sugar, coconut milk and hints of sweet liquorice. A bit thin and very sweet.

44 cl can, 8.5% abv. poured into a Snifter. Near black with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with a roasted bitterness, some molasses and faint citrus. The taste is sweet. Thin body, disappointing given the abv. Short sweet finish. Disappointed.

Can picked up from Fotex Valby and drunk at home 21/10/2024 Dark roasted malty with lots of cocoa and caramel, some liquorice, burnt ashy roast, charred brown sugar, dark malty bitter finish. Nice one.

Can, 8.5%. Acidic raw liquorice aroma with a whiff of bread. Black colour. Stable frothy light brown head. The flavour has a sweetish liquorice. A little fruit or jam. Sweetish liquorice finish. Hint of metal in the aftertaste.

can bit faint aroma but what there is, is good stuff, roasted malts, charred wood, faint chocolate, no bitter caramel or other bad stuff. only the aroma is a bit faint/weak. but it's good. flavor is dry, roasted malty, faint charred woody and hard roasted malty, bit of brown sugar, good bitter aftertaste both malts and hops, A very pleasing and good tasting black beer, not sweet, roasted and hard roasted malty. in fact tastes more like imperial porter than imperial stout. nice one.
