A collaboration with Amundsen Brewery, this ale embodies the strength of a draft horse with a big dose of robust Columbus and Centennial hops. Vienna and Munich malts enrich the malt base. Also available on cask, it’s a vibrant, resinous thing of beauty.

Can. Drove Orchards Farm Shop. Lightly hazed pale gold. Very decent lasting white froth. Nose has semi sweet grain. Pine sap. Grapefruit peel. Fusty citrus. Taste has some sweetness getting nicely pithy and citrus bitter. Lean on the palate. Bitter finish. Good gear.

440ml can shared with Brother-in-Law Andy (Dad of AndyTF2) on 17th December 2024 in The Boot. Slight haze to the golden pour, white topping. Grassy and orangey with no Shire Horse's in sight.

Tap at The Hope, Carshalton 29/11/2024 Fruity and malty with notes of citrus fruit, pine needles, caramel sweetness, grain, medium body, bitter hoppy finish.

Keg at The Hope, Carshalton ... where's your fucking beer festival ? 29/11/24. Almost clear golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, soft malts, tangerine. Taste comprises tangerine, light breads, melon, soft malts, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with light juicy hop bitterness. Okay pale.

Keg at O'Doyly's, O'Doyly Carte Island Weybridge. Aroma is sweet and fruity with citrus and a herbal lift. Clear gold. Foamy white head. Sweet fruit with a delicate bitter streak. Citrus. A hint of spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasant APA.
