Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, light dusty, little hay, grass. Flavor is light bitter, malt, light toasted, light caramel, light herbal, grass. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 110618

An orange beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has caramel malts, mild tropical-citrus fruitness. Taste has caramel, mild fruitness. The bitterness is nicely strong but withour aromatic notes, more like rough bitterness. Should be more aromatic.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, rough white head. Discreet aroma, a hint of spice perhaps, but certainly no citrus or tropical fruits - in spite of the promises on the back label. Medium body, odd spicy edge - or is it simply light struck as the head brewer encourages? Dry, bitter finish. With so many fruit bombs out there, this feels so old school that it is bound to disappoint. 280218

50 cl bottle. Pours almost clear and golden orange. Small white head. Aroma is grapefruity nd slight pine hoppy. Bitter, slight herbal. Dry. Bitter and solid hoppy. Dry hoppy finish.

bottle from menu. clear yellow, smooth offwhite head. aroma is dry malty, crisp hoppy. reminds me of a euro hopped lager. so strange. flavor is flowery euro hoppy with a crisp quite malty dry base. a fairly bitter but otherwise quite true to the traditional english way to do an ipa, but i find it a bit too bitter and too sweet. As if bitterness and malts just clash somehow.
