Can picked up from Drank Gigant webshop, Dendermonde, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 17th November 2024, cooking a Prawn Masala curry with Parathas and listening to The Cure - Songs of a Lost World. It's been our birthdays over the last 2 - 3 days but we've sadly lost one of our best friends Bob who passed away on Friday evening. This poured pretty much dark brown, with a light beige head. The aroma is a little nutty, caramel, roasted malt and bitter chocolate. These also are present in the mouth, there is a nice mouthfeel, it looks good, it smells good and it tastes good it's a great beer.

0.44 l can from 'Rebelbeercans', canned in August 2024. Hazy, very dark brown to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of caramel, blueberry, tropical fruits and nuts. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty-bitter, quite fruity aroma of caramel, roasted nuts, licorice, burnt bread crust, blueberry and tropical fruits, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly ashy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice beer, very hoppy and roasty for a Bock though, almost leaning towards BIPA territory.

High quality modern dutch bock. Almost as good as a german version. Het lagerhuys ams (3.6 het lagerhuys ams) In their guild box and it’s terrible, 3.3, puckering dry almost infected… lowering
