Die Ukraine als größter legaler Weizenexporteur 🌾Europas ist prädestiniert als Weizenbierland zumal Witbiere im Land sehr beliebt sind. Die Nachfrage wird allerdings meist über Lizenz-Hoegaaden etc abhedeckt. Das Kupava ist ein einheimisches Witbier, welches schon länger am Markt ist. Geschmacklich gefällt es mir sehr gut. Es hat schöne Noten nach Hefe 🍄🟫, Koriander und Orangenschalen 🍊, womit es schön süffig und doch aromatisch ansprechend ist.

2/7/2022. Can shared at fonefan tasting. Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is wheaty, malt, citrus, banana, yeast, bubblegum and coriander. Quite sweet, touch bitter/tart. Average carbonation.

Can @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt, hops and has a nice sweet malty finish.

(Keg at Taproom Helsinki, 20220628) The beer poured pale amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted rather long. Aroma had fruitiness, spices and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spices, fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A nice one.
