Sunday 26th Aug 2018; Cherry Reds, City Center Birmingham; cask half-pint. Amber body, white crown. The nose is all about malty molasses, as is the initial taste, then the hops kick in and to give some bitterness and piney notes.

Clear copper colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some light toasted caramel notes. Hoppiness grows in the finish. A little floral and resinous.

Clear amber, white head. Bit of a citrus aroma.Flavour is tart, slightly sour grapefruity citrus. A touch claggy in your mouth after a few swigs. Not keen on this one.

The final beer of the night at the London Tasting, October 2016. From the cask, which I am sure helped it very much. English yeast is noticeable. Brown color. Moderately well hopped, noble hops i think, and a dry malt base. It is in good condition from the cask.
