Pours mahogany tinged cola into a stein. Mocha head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Cocoa and coffee aromas. Dry with sweet cocoa, pumpernickel, fig and date upfront turning to coffee and raisin bread before earthy oak in the medium length finish.

Dark pour and pretty beige head. Nose is dark bread, cocoa, touch of sake. Tatses of caramel, chocolate, pumpernickel, licorice, almond, and that nigori sake milky rice taste. Smooth creamy palate. Hit spot on this rainy cold evening.

Brewery lukr, 12/16/22. Dark cola, most likely clear. Large, light tan head, well-retained. Nuts, cola, chocolate and light fudge. No big toast, maybe a moderate amount of herbal hops. Super soft mineral, clean, good base malt. Licorice-forward with cocoa, herbal hops, light milk chocolate and more cocoa on the end. A bit more cocoa and licorice than I'd prefer, but it's incredibly soft, malty, well-attenuated and not overdone on specialty malt.
