Draft pour pint at Elliott Bay Pizza. Several drafts and bottles of this over the last couple years, and I always assumed I had rated it. A preference of mine over other RR IPAs when Pliny is not an option. Clean and clear golden appearance. Sticky lacing, thin head. Fragrant hops on the nose, with tropical tones. Crisp first sip. Tropical hops with a balanced and crisp cracker grain. Classic feel, and lighter feel without sacrificing flavor in any way. Very much on board with this IPA. Love this.

Reminiscent of a West Coast version of Lunch. Bright and full of citrus, with a lovely mix of tangerine, grapefruit, stone fruit, and a modest tropical note. Finishes with a gentle pine-mineral bitterness touched with citrus. Delicious.

Tap at Troubles End. A rather supreme example of Mosaic. While I used to think peach-mango with Mosaic, the last few years I really get a candy blueberry tone from the heavily hopped stuff. Massive flavor, all the more impressive with the filtered body. Lacks a pinch of bitterness, but a really impressive flavor display. I had high expectations and this exceeded them.

Bottle from Pasadena Whole Foods: pours golden with white head. Aroma is mostly grapefruit, pine and some grass. Taste is somewhat bitter, citrusy and piny. Solid WCish IPA.

Pours bright orange gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Earthy tangerine and pine aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel and citrus upfront turning to earthy pine in the medium length finish.
