Can (cracked in the cellar...!!!): As black as ink, smaller tanned head, rich but kind of artificial aroma of coffee, coconut, toasted malt and vanilla; quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, soft at least; moderate bitterness and coconut in the soft and lingering malty-coffeeish finish.Quite O.K., but it could be better without the coconuts...

(can, 33cl) Black colour with a big and brown foamy head. Strong aroma of coconut oil, hints of roasted malt and chocolate stay in the background. Mildly sweet, slightly bitter and sour-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Dry and moderately roasted malty base with overpowering notes of coconut, leaving only hints of chocolate flavours; dry, slightly bitter-roasty and sour-tart finish lasting notes of coconut. The use of coconut essence is too much, imho. 31.V.18

(Cask at Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe, Aldgate, London, 24 Nov 2017) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, sweet coffee and coconut. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, coconut, vanilla and a balanced cacao bitterness in a slightly sweetish finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. On the sweet side, but tasty and well made. Nice one.
