This foeder-aged sour is a deep amber/brown color with dried fruits and balsamic in the nose, tartness up front with malt and barrel sweetness mingling at the end.

Bottle. BB 1/23 but may not see them again. Clear deep reddish brown with a beige head that fizzes away. Aroma of brown sugar, cherries, old lemons. Lowish carbon, a little slippery. Medium sour with woody and forest floor notes, stewed fruit, old lemons. Vale.

Capped 500 from liquor barn in Redding, California. Pours hazy ruddy brown with a tan head. Aroma is that tart Oud Bruin thing. Medium body. Tart and somewhat dry. A Vestvletteren red sour for sure.

500ml bottle. Opaque amber pour, fine ring of head. Tart aroma, raisins, plums, malty. Taste is sweet with the right amount of sour funk, pit fruit, grapes. Pretty smooth, dries out your gums a bit.
