Barrel & Foudre Aged + Autumn Fruits + Wild Yeasts 2018
Aged for almost a year in some second use Modus Operandi, Burgundy red wine and Scotch Whisky barrels to produce a rich, rounded, tart beer that is intriguing and tasty.
This year we believe it's been aged with copious amounts of Sloes, Blackberries, Raspberries, Mulberrys, Damsons, Plums, Gooseberries, and Elderberries. Need we say more?

Small rim, hazy amber beer. End of bottle serious UFO's. Fruity nose, strawberry, strawberry liqueur, wood. Strawberries on mild lactic acid. Even some horseblanket. Faint lemon, and delicate fruity flavours. Acidburn and -thinning, good carbonation, refreshing. Another excellent, alas gone beer from Wild Beer. Just great.

330ml bottle - Pours a coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. The aroma is vinous, balsamic, red berries, funk and wood. A sharp acidic taste, balsamic vinegar, red berries and oak flavours with a drying tart finish.

330 ml bottle from the brewery. Pours unclear amber to mahogany with a beige cap. Aroma: tart berries, red fruits, funk, oak. Taste: tart, acetic, fruity, dark berries, red fruits, wood, red wine & balsamic hints. Medium body with low-ish carbonation. Preferred other vintages of this tbh.

Tap at BeerGeek Bar. Misty red body, off whtie head. Oak-driven aroma, raisins, red fruit, quite okay. Lean, juicy, classy sour taste, various red fruit, peppery, ending dry and bitterish, not that acetic really, only somewhat. Not bad at all!

F: medium, tan, not long lasting.
C: dark coppery, hazy.
A: nice sour bretty fruity, sour berries, plums, raspberries, bit caramel, chocolate touch, complex.
T: medium malty base, sour fruity, bit puckering, brett touch, bit lemon water, woody, plums, berries, very refreshing, lower carbonation, very good, fully enjoyed.

On tap at Valhalla, Zagreb. Dark red, off white head. Fruity, malty, berries, sourish, tart. Bit acetic. Dry. Some barrel. Medium bodied.
